Samut Songkhram FC is a football club from the Thai city of Samut Songkhram , which was founded in 2005 . Currently the club plays in the fourth highest Thai league, the Thai League 4.
The club was founded in 2004 and rose as second in Group B in 2007 from the 2nd division to the Thailand Premier League . As a newcomer and newcomer to the TPL, the club was able to end the 2008 season on a surprising 7th place. In 2009 Samut Songkhram finished 10th and narrowly escaped relegation. In its third season in the House of Lords, the club will probably only play for relegation. Shortly before the start of the 2010 season, a new main sponsor, SCG, was presented. The contract initially runs for a year and brings the club 10 million baht . In return, the club is officially called SCG Samut Songkhram Football Club . Compared to other clubs in the league, the financial resources remain limited. Until 2014 the club played in the Thai Premier League . After a 20th place in the 2014 season, they were relegated to the Thai Premier League Division 1 . From 2015 to 2017 the club played in the 2nd division. After incomplete documents were submitted for licensing, the club was punished with relegation to the 4th division, the Thai League 4, West Region. Here the club took fourth place.

The club plays its home games at Samut Songkhram Stadium (Thai: สนาม กีฬา กลาง จังหวัด สมุทรสงคราม หรือ สนาม อบ จ. สมุทรสงคราม). The multi-purpose stadium has a capacity of 6,000 spectators. The stadium is owned by Samut Songkhram Province .
