FM Static is a Christian pop-rock - band from Toronto ( Ontario , Canada ).
background
The band is a side project of Thousand Foot Krutch front man Trevor McNevan and drummer Steve Augustine. In 2003 they released their first album ( What are you waiting for? ), Which has meanwhile sold over 60,000 times, on the Christian label Tooth & Nail Records . The second album, Critically Ashamed, followed on August 1, 2006 . Former members of the band were the brothers Justin (bass) and Jeremy Smith (guitar) and John Bunner (guitar), who left after the first shows. Because the Smith brothers stopped playing after the second album, they didn't go on tour with Critically Ashamed . FM Static have been nominated for the GMA Canada Covenant Awards and are featured on one of their compilations with their song Crazy Mary . On April 5th 2011 the band will release their fourth studio album My Brain Says Stop, but My Heart Says Go! publish, from which 2 songs are already known. The band had already put the entire album as a stream on the Internet beforehand. However, the prerequisite for this was the consent to receive a newsletter via email and to post advertising with a Twitter account.
