The steam locomotive series kkStB 38 were freight train - Tender locomotives of kkStB , originally from the Ludwig-Bahn Galician Carl came.
The locomotives were delivered from 1868 to 1878 by the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , by the StEG locomotive factory and by Kessler in Esslingen . They were refueled after 1892. The table shows the dimensions with the new boilers.
After the nationalization in 1892, 95 machines were classified as series 38 by the kkStB (38.01-06 and 09-97).
After the First World War , the remaining machines were divided between FS and PKP . The PKP eliminated them without giving them their own series designation. The FS classified them as row 221 .
