The FV 09 Nürtingen is a soccer club from Nürtingen .
history
The association was founded in 1909. The most successful time of the FV 09 Nürtingen began with the first membership in the 1st Amateur League Württemberg from 1953 to 1957. During this time, the Nürtingen won the 1954 WFV Cup. After the club rose again in 1964, they belonged again to the top amateur class for twelve years until they were relegated to the 2nd amateur league in 1976. After missing the qualification for the newly created fourth-class Verbandsliga Württemberg in 1978, FV 09 Nürtingen disappeared from higher-class football.
In the 2013/14 season, the club played in the eight-class district league Neckar-Fils, after losing the relegation to the state league in 2013. In 2015, after 18 years under coach Daniel Teufel, he was promoted to the national league again.
