The FV / DJK St. Georgen 1913 is a German football club based in St. Georgen in Baden-Württemberg in the Black Forest in the Schwarzwald-Baar district .
history
Established until the post-war period
On March 8, 1913, the Teutonia football club was founded. Due to the First World War, however, there was no real game operation, in June 1922 the St. Georgen football club emerged, which was then entered in the club register.
The first team rose to the 1948/49 season in the Landesliga Südbaden . With 19:25 the club was able to hold on to 8th place in the league. For the 1950/51 season , the club then went into the third-class 1st Amateur League South Baden. There you could hold on until the end of the 1951/52 season , after which the team had to relegate with 18:50 points over the 16th place in the 2nd amateur league. For the 1959/60 season , the club rose again to the 1st amateur league and took 10th place. The 15th place in the following season 1960/61 meant relegation.
For the season 1966/67 a promotion to the 1st amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee succeeded again ; with 8:52 points it was over after one season and the team had to go straight back down as bottom of the table.
Current time
The FV St. Georgen merged in 1995 with the DJK St. Georgen founded in 1926 to form the FV / DJK St. Georgen .
At least since the 2003/04 season, the FV / DJK St. Georgen played in the district league B Black Forest . After the 2005/06 season then succeeded with 44 points in second place in the table, which the club was allowed to rise to the district league A for the next season. There the team took 9th place in the table with 29 points and was thus able to hold the class for the time being. After the next season it was over again and with only 13 points the club had to relegate as the bottom of the table. For the 2018/19 season, a syndicate was entered into with FC Viktoria Peterzell, which, however, was dissolved again relatively quickly. To this day, the club continues to play in the district league B.
