Fabian Lau

Fabian Lau (born June 9, 1962 in Heidelberg ) is a German satirist , songwriter , author and musician .

Life

After finishing primary school, Fabian Lau moved to Darmstadt and attended the Ludwig-Georgs-Gymnasium there . After first publishing texts at Fischer Verlag at the end of the 1970s, he learned jazz guitar with Häns'che Weiss and toured Europe with his own ensemble “Le Swing” until the mid-1980s.

Fabian Lau has been working as a satirist, lyricist and freelance writer since 1993. Since then he has been touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland with his own lyrics and chansons. From 1995 to 2004 he presented his own cabaret shows for WDR , with Hanns-Dieter Hüsch , Harald Schmidt and Wladimir Kaminer , among others . Fabian Lau has been a member of the Celle School since 1997 .

Fabian Lau has been married for the second time since 2009. His first marriage had a son and a daughter. He has been a full-time nurse since 2010 and lives with his second wife in Malchen .
