Fabian Leitner (born November 11, 2001 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Leitner began his career at FC Wacker Tirol , which was renamed FC Wacker Innsbruck in 2007. In 2015 he came to AKA Tirol , where he went through all age groups.

In April 2019, he was against Floridsdorfer AC for the first time in the squad of the second team of his regular club FC Wacker Innsbruck. In June 2019 he made his debut for them in the 2nd division when he came on as a substitute for Atsushi Zaizen in the 79th minute against SC Austria Lustenau on matchday 30 of the 2018/19 season . For the 2019/20 season he moved into the first team of Wacker Innsbruck.

National team

In October 2015 he played for the first time for an Austrian youth national team. In September 2018 he made his debut against Sweden for the U-18 selection .
