Vieillevie is a French municipality with 111 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); administratively it belongs to the arrondissement Aurillac and is part of the canton Arpajon-sur-Cère (until 2015 Montsalvy ).

Vieillevie is located about 25 kilometers south of Aurillac on the Lot , which borders the municipality in the south. Vieillevie is surrounded by the neighboring communities Cassaniouze in the north and west, Junhac in the north, Montsalvy in the northeast, Le Fel in the east, Sénergues in the south and southeast and Grand-Vabre in the southwest.
