Saint-Etienne-Cantalès ( Occitan Sant Estèfe de CANTALES ) is a French municipality with 132 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Saint-Paul-des-Landes (until 2015 Laroquebrou ).

Saint-Étienne-Cantalès is surrounded by the neighboring communities Laroquebrou in the north and north-west, Nieudan in the north, Saint-Paul-des-Landes in the east and north-east, Lacapelle-Viescamp in the south and east and Saint-Gérons in the south and west.
