Labrousse ( Occitan La Brossa ) is a French city and a municipality with 512 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (201 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Vic-sur-Cère (until 2015 Aurillac-3 ). The inhabitants are called Labroussia .

Labrousse belongs to the historic region of Carladès and is located about eleven kilometers southeast of the city center of Aurillac . Labrousse is surrounded by the neighboring municipality of Vézac in the north and north-west, Carlat in the north and north-east, Cros-de-Ronesque in the east and north-east, Vezels-Roussy in the south-east, Teissière-lès-Bouliès in the south, Prunet in the west and south-west and Arpajon- sur-Cère to the west and north-west.
