La Ségalassière ( Occitan La Segalassièira ) is a French municipality with 125 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Saint-Paul-des-Landes (until 2015 Saint-Mamet-la-Salvetat ).

La Ségalassière is located about eighteen kilometers west-southwest of Aurillac in the Massif Central , in the Châtaigneraie natural landscape . La Ségalassière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Glénat in the north and east, Le Rouget-Pers in the north, south and east, and Roumégoux in the south and south-west.
