Le Rouget-Pers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Gérons in the north, La Chapelle-Viescamp in the northeast, Omps in the east, Saint-Mamet-la-Salvetat in the east and southeast, Cayrols in the south, Roumégoux in the west and southwest, La Ségalassière in the west and Glénat in the west and northwest.
