Lascelle ( Occitan Las Celas ) is a French city and a municipality with 329 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Vic-sur-Cère (until 2015 Aurillac-4 ).

location

Lascelle belongs to the historic region of Cantalès and is about eighteen kilometers northeast of the city center of Aurillac . Lascelle is surrounded by the neighboring municipality of Saint-Projet-de-Salers in the north, Saint-Cirgues-de-Jordanne in the east, Thiézac in the east and south-east, Vic-sur-Cère in the south-east, Velzic in the south, Laroquevieille in the west and Girgols in the West and northwest.
