Laroquevieille is a French city and a municipality with 353 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Naucelles (until 2015 Aurillac-4 ).

Laroquevieille belongs to the historic region of Carladès and is located about 14 kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Aurillac am Authre . Laroquevieille is surrounded by the neighboring municipality of Girgols in the north and north-west, Lascelle in the east, Velzic in the south and south-east and Marmanhac in the south and west.
