Leynhac is located in the Massif Central , about 23 kilometers south-southwest of Aurillac . Leynhac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boisset in the north and north-west, Marcolès in the east and north-east, Saint-Antoine in the east, Puycapel in the south and south-east, Saint-Constant-Fournoulès in the south and Saint-Étienne-de-Maurs in the south and west.
