Labesserette is a French municipality with 293 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); administratively it belongs to the arrondissement Aurillac and is part of the canton Arpajon-sur-Cère (until 2015 Montsalvy ). The inhabitants are called Labesserettois .

Labesserette is located about 17 kilometers south-southeast of Aurillac . Labesserette is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Lacapelle-del-Fraisse in the north and north-west, Lafeuillade-en-Vézie in the north, Ladinhac in the north and north-east, Lapeyrugue in the east, Montsalvy in the south and south-east, Junhac in the south and Sansac-Venaizès in the west.
