Saint-Gérons ( Occitan Sant Geronç ) is a French municipality with 217 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Saint-Paul-des-Landes (until 2015 Laroquebrou ).

Saint-Gérons is located about nineteen kilometers west-northwest of Aurillac in the Massif Central and in the Châtaigneraie . Saint-Gérons is surrounded by the neighboring communities Laroquebrou in the north and west, Saint-Étienne-Cantalès in the east, Lacapelle-Viescamp in the south-east, Le Rouget-Pers in the south and south-east, Glénat in the south and south-west and Siran in the west.
