Lapeyrugue is a French municipality with 103 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); administratively it belongs to the arrondissement Aurillac and is part of the canton Arpajon-sur-Cère (until 2015: Montsalvy ). The inhabitants are called Peyruguiens .

geography

Lapeyrugue is located about 24 kilometers south-southeast of Aurillac on the Goul , which borders the municipality in the east. Lapeyrugue is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ladinhac in the north, Murols in the north-east, Saint-Hippolyte in the south and east, Montsalvy in the south and south-west and Labesserette in the west and north-west.
