Saint-Illide ( Occitan : Sant Illide ) is a French municipality with 656 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Naucelles (until 2015: canton of Saint-Cernin ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Illidois .

Saint-Illide is about 18 kilometers northwest of Aurillac . Saint-Illide is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-Cantalès in the north, Saint-Cirques-de-Malbert in the northeast, Saint-Cernin in the east, Freix-Anglards in the southeast, Ayrens and Saint-Victor in the south, Saint-Santin- Cantalès in the southwest and Arnac in the west.
