Reginald de Vautort (also Reginald de Vautort I ) (* before 1086; † between 1123 and 1129) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman.

Reginald de Vautort came from the originally Norman Vautort family . As a henchman to Robert, Earl of Mortain , he received about 55 estates in Cornwall , Devon and Somerset before 1086 . The center of the property became Trematon , where a castle was built and a market existed before 1086. After Count Robert's death, Reginald was part of his son William's entourage . Together with other West English barons, he attested a document from King Henry I in 1123. It is likely that around this time he received the goods of Maker , King's Tamerton and Sutton Vautort in Devon from the king . Together with Ralph, who was probably his brother, he founded the Benedictine priory of Modbury in Devon as a subsidiary of the Abbey of Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives in Normandy . His son Roger I de Vautort became his heir .
