Crandelles ( Occitan : Crandèlas ) is a commune in the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and has 845 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The municipality belongs to the Cantal department , the Aurillac arrondissement and is part of the Naucelles canton (until 2015: Jussac canton ).

location

Crandelles is located about eight kilometers northwest of Aurillac in the Massif Central on the Authre . Crandelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Teissières-de-Cornet in the north, Jussac in the northeast, Reilhac in the east, Naucelles in the east and southeast, Ytrac in the south and Saint-Paul-des-Landes in the west and southwest.
