Fabian Payr

Fabian Payr (* 1962 ) is a German musician, composer and music course organizer.

Life

Fabian Payr first studied German, theater, film and television studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, then at the Academy for Tonkunst Darmstadt classical guitar with Olaf van Gonnissen (SMP and KA). The member of the “Chamber Jazz Ensemble” founded musica viva together with his wife Ariane Egner-Payr in 1992 , which organizes holiday music courses for adult amateur musicians in Germany, Italy and Austria. In 2005 he launched the Internet platform for musicians-add-musicians . In addition to the "Folk-Jazz-Ballads", his most successful publications include the book "Finger Fitness für Gitarristen", a compendium of technical exercises for the guitar.
