Fabian Ver (1982)

Fabian Cachola Ver (born January 20, 1920 in Sarrat , Ilocos Norte , Philippines ; † November 21, 1998 Bangkok , Thailand ) was chief of staff of the Philippine Army in Ferdinand Marcos' cabinet and one of his closest confidants . He was considered to be one of the masterminds behind the murder of Benigno Aquino, Jr. The committee of inquiry that dealt with Aquino's murder, however, absolved Ver of all guilt.
