Fabian Weiß (born February 23, 1992 in Aalen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Fabian Weiß, who comes from Aalen-Brastelburg, first joined the SV Waldhausen district club and was then discovered by the talent scouts of the big neighbor VfB Stuttgart . There he played up to the B-youth and was appointed to the German U-16 national team during this time. He completed his time in the state capital by winning the German B-Junior Championship. Then he went back to his hometown and joined the VfR Aalen .

At VfR he was already used twice in the regional league team under Rainer Scharinger as an A-youth , whereby the striker managed to equalize 2-2 in the final minute on his first appearance in the professional team in the home game against SSV Ulm . In this season, the Aalen rose to the 3rd division and in the following year White was in the squad for the second team competing in the Association League Württemberg , but was still eligible to play for the U19 and was thus with at the end of the 2010/11 season 13 goals vice scorer of the A-Junior-Oberliga. In the first team under Ralph Hasenhüttl he made his professional league debut in the final quarter of an hour on the last day of the match, when relegation was already certain. In the following season he was in the professional squad of VfR Aalen. He was used regularly, mostly as a substitute, but he was also on the starting line-up six times and once of which he played 90 minutes. At the end of the season, the club was in second place in the table and thus made it to the 2nd Bundesliga.

There he was not used in the preliminary round of the following season. In order to get match practice, he was loaned to the regional division SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in January 2013 until the end of the season.

In the following year and a half, White made 26 appearances for Aalen in the 2nd Bundesliga, mostly as a substitute from the bench. His only goal came in October 2014 in a 2-0 win against TSV 1860 Munich. In January 2015, Weiss left VfR Aalen after asking the club to terminate his contract. A few days later, his move to the Würzburger Kickers , leaders of the Bayern Regionalliga , became known.

On May 31, 2015, as part of the team, he made it to the third division in the second leg of the relegation against 1. FC Saarbrücken. In January 2016, Weiß terminated his contract in Würzburg in order to concentrate on his professional career. He moved to the Württemberg regional league team Sportfreunde Dorfmerkingen . With his club he was promoted to the association league in 2017 . In summer 2018 he switched to TSV Essingen within the league. In winter 2020 he switched back to the Sportfreunde Dorfmerkingen, which had meanwhile been promoted to the major league.
