Fabian zu Dohna-Schlodien
Fabian Graf and Burgrave zu Dohna-Schlodien (born August 5, 1802 in Mallmitz , † May 4, 1871 in Kunzendorf in Silesia ) was a German administrative officer and landowner.
Life
origin
Fabian zu Dohna came from a branch of the East Prussian aristocratic family Dohna-Schlodien who was well-off in Silesia . He was the son of the landscape director Fabian Graf von Dohna-Schlodien auf Mallmitz (1777-1839) and his first wife Amalie, née Countess von Kospoth (1780-1834). Alfred zu Dohna-Mallmitz , member of the Prussian manor house, was his half-brother, his half-brother Emil (1805–1877) was a Prussian lieutenant general.
Career
Fabian zu Dohna studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1822 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1847 to 1863 he was District Administrator of Sagan County . He was the owner of the Nieder-Küpper and Kunzendorf estates in the Sagan district.
family
He was married to Marie Wilson von Steinach (1805-1893), daughter of Louis de Rohan-Guéméné , Duke of Montbazon and Bouillon, and Pauline von Sagan . The couple had several children:

- Paul Otto Gustav Friedrich Albert Fabian (1832-1900)
- Dorothea (1836–1897) ⚭ 1863 Oskar von Diebitsch (1823–1906), Prussian major general
- Marie Johanne Charlotte (1838-1924)
