Fabio Crotta (born September 4, 1979 ) is a Swiss show jumper from the canton of Ticino . He is the brother of the show jumper Clarissa Crotta . Fabio Crotta is married to show jumping rider Sabrina Crotta.
Career
He played football until he was 12. After taking a riding course at the age of 13, he started riding. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , Crotta was part of the Swiss team that finished fifth in the team competition. In 2005 he won the silver medal with the team at the European Championships in San Patrignano .
At the 2016 Swiss Championships in Sion , he came third with Tess de Jalesnes . A year earlier he won the final of the Swiss Cup with Rubina in Humlikon .
