Clarissa Rosa Maria Crotta Baronio (born June 10, 1978 ), mostly called Clarissa Crotta for short , is a Swiss show jumper from the canton of Ticino .

In October 2012 it is number 149 in the world rankings . Her best placement was 72nd.

Career

At the 2009 European Championships in Windsor, she won gold with the Swiss team. In the individual ranking she reached 22nd place.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London she was a substitute rider.

In 2010 she moved from Giubiasco near Itzehoe , where she works in the stable of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Bo Kristoffersen . Before that, she was stationed in Willi Melliger's stable in Neuendorf . At the beginning of 2013 she set up her own show and sales stable in Borgholzhausen .

Private

Crotta has two siblings, her brother Fabio is also a show jumper. Clarissa Crotta is divorced. Their daughter was born in April 2019 with Toni Haßmann .
