Indoor cross country

Since 2014, a hall versatility test on terrain obstacles has been carried out on Saturday evenings. In contrast to the variety of halls in German-speaking countries, the Indoor Cross Country is not a time jumping test, nor are any normal jumping course obstacles integrated. Instead, the rules of cross-country routes that are customary in versatility are used: The course must be mastered within an ideal time, every second above the ideal time brings 0.4 minus points to the rider's result. In addition to minus points for disobedience (not overcoming an obstacle), the riders can also receive minus points on several obstacles if they trigger throwable elements. The victory goes to the participant with the lowest number of faults, in the event of a tie, the rider whose time comes closest to the ideal time wins (if there are several riders with zero fault points, the slowest ride wins). In 2017, the Indoor Cross Country was advertised internationally for the first time (as a CIX Arena).

Similar to the Salzburg hall versatility , the test is carried out across two halls, unlike in Salzburg, however, the time between the halls is not stopped (the short distances are covered at a gallop).

The competition is also sponsored by Rolex at the Indoor Cross Country, the prize money is over 25,000 Swiss francs.

Winner:

Grand Prix Freestyle

In 2016, the CHI Geneva was expanded to include another discipline: three dressage tests (Grand Prix de Dressage, Grand Prix Spécial and Grand Prix Freestyle) were announced as part of a CDI 4 * , making the CHI one of only two internationally advertised dressage competitions in Switzerland. As part of the World Dressage Masters , the dressage tests were highly endowed, the prize money for the Grand Prix Freestyle on Saturday evening was 70,000 euros. In 2017 the tournament was upgraded to CDI 5 *, two years later the dressage tests were removed from the program.
