Fabio Rinaldi

Fabio Rinaldi (born July 15, 1973 ) is an Italian marathon runner .

In 1999 he won the Piacenza Marathon and came second in the Florence Marathon . In 2000 he won the Livorno Marathon and finished sixth in the Milan Marathon . The following year, a win at the Maratona del Salento was followed by a second place at the Maratona d'Europa . In 2002 he defended his title in Salento, was eighth in the Maratona d'Italia national champion and second in Florence.

In 2003 he was sixth at Roma - Ostia , second at the Naples Marathon and came 54th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Vilamoura . In 2004 he won the Treviso Marathon . He achieved a time of 2:11:48 h on the course, which was not suitable for the best list because of its gradient.

In September 2009 he refused a doping test . He was banned for two years because of this doping rule violation .
