Fabrizio Zambrella (born March 1, 1986 in Geneva ) is a Swiss football player . The midfielder is under contract with FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne .

Career

Fabrizio Zambrella started his career at Servette FC Genève . In the 2003/04 season he made the leap into the regular formation here. Due to his strong performances, clubs from abroad also noticed him. Finally, the Serie A club Brescia Calcio secured the services of the Swiss. From October 29, 2009 to January 31, 2012 he played for FC Sion . He then moved to Greece to PAS Ioannina . He played for FC Lausanne-Sport in the 2013/14 season . After being out of a club for half a year from summer 2014, he moved to FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne in the Challenge League in January 2015 .

National team

Zambrella completed various international junior matches for Switzerland.

Zambrella was part of the Swiss youth national team for many years. At the U-19 European Football Championship in 2004 he reached the semi-finals with Switzerland, in 2005 he failed with the U-20s at the Junior World Cup in the Netherlands in the preliminary round. With the U-21 he took part in the U-21 European Football Championship in 2004 and the qualifying rounds in 2006 and 2009.
