history
The clinic was created in 2005 from the merger of the two affiliated clinics, Michaelis Hospital and Hospital Beim Andreasbrunnen , which had existed since 1962 . The specialist clinic has been located in the former building of the dermatological clinic of the Eppendorf University Clinic since October 2008 .
organization
It is legally organized as a non-profit GmbH . The doctors working in the clinic are shareholders. There are around 80 medical specialists from various disciplines based in Hamburg. She is a member of the Hamburgische Krankenhausgesellschaft e. V. and one of the 16 hospitals of the Association of Independent Non-Profit Hospitals in Hamburg e. V.
Specialist departments and services
The clinic works in the areas of anesthesia , ophthalmology , gynecology , ear, nose and throat medicine , orthopedics , urology and various areas of surgery . Its services include outpatient and inpatient operations, minimally invasive surgery , endoscopic surgery, laser surgery and postoperative pain therapy .
Integrated care
The specialist clinic complies with current health policy demands for outpatient-inpatient interlinking, referred to as " integrated care " under health law , and has signed a contract for integrated care with two health insurance companies for a number of outpatient operations.
