Facundo Ospitaleche , full name Facundo Ospitaleche Hernández , (born April 11, 1996 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.77 meter tall midfielder Ospitaleche played in youth football for Defensor Sporting since 2010 . Via the teams of the Septima División (2010), the Sexta División (2011), the U-16s (2012) and the Quinta División (2013), he joined the U-19 team of the Cuarta División in 2014, for which he also joined the following year was active. In 2015 he was also a member of the reserve (Formativas) in the Tercera División. At the beginning of October 2014 he was promoted - at least temporarily - together with Franco Pizzichillo to the squad of the first team. He made his debut in the Primera División in the Apertura 2015 on October 23, 2015 in a 0-0 draw in the away game against Plaza Colonia , when he was called into the starting line-up by coach Juan Tejera . In the 2015/16 season he played a first division match (no goal). At the beginning of September 2016 he switched to Venados FC on loan and played 25 league games (no goal) and four games (no goal) in the Copa México with the Mexicans . In July 2017, the Uruguayan first division team River Plate Montevideo signed him .
National team
Under coach Fabián Coito, Ospitaleche made his debut in the Uruguayan U-17 national team in a 5-1 win in a friendly against Peru on July 24, 2012 . He took part with the team at the U-17 South American Championship 2013 in Argentina . During the tournament he was used four times (no goal). In the run-up to the U-17 World Cup that year, the Uruguayan Football Association had 26 international matches and two goals in this age group for him. At the U-17 World Cup in 2013 , he was also part of the Uruguayan squad and reached the quarter-finals with the team. During the tournament he played five games and scored one goal.
On August 4, 2014, he was also used by Coito in the 1-0 loss to Peru as a member of the starting line-up for the first time in the Uruguayan U-20 team .
