Fahriye Evcen (born June 4, 1986 in Solingen , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a Turkish- German actress .

Life

When Fahriye Evcen was seven years old, there was an assassination attempt in Solingen . According to their own statements, this frightened the family so much that, for fear of attacks by neo-Nazis, they did not switch on the lights in the apartment for weeks to give the impression of an abandoned apartment.

Evcen studied sociology at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf . She emigrated to Turkey with her mother after receiving serious job offers there. From 2006 to 2010 she played the third youngest daughter in the successful television series Yaprak Dökümü on the Turkish private broadcaster Kanal D and became known to a larger audience.

Evcen, who lived in Germany until her unexpected success on Turkish television, has lived in Istanbul ever since . In addition, she studies history at the Boğaziçi Üniversitesi parallel to her acting career .

In the film Cennet , which was released in Turkey on April 11, 2008, Fahriye Evcen played next to the actor Engin Altan Düzyatan for the first time a leading role in the cinema, and thus had his first experience shooting a movie.

On October 24, 2008, the film Aşk Tutulması by director Murat Şeker premiered, in which Fahriye Evcen and Tolgahan Sayışman play the leading roles. In 2010 she took on the young role of the Italian actress Claudia Cardinale in the Italian-Turkish film Signora Enrica .

In 2011 she was seen in the leading role in the Turkish series Yalanci Bahar . Since 2012 she has played the main role of Mehpare in the Veda series .

In the love drama Evim Sensin zu German. You are my home , Fahriye Evcen as Leyla at the side of Özcan Deniz as Iskender can be seen in cinemas since November 2012.

In 2013 she played the lead role in the successful series Çalıkuşu as Feride (Calikusu) alongside Burak Özçivit (Kamran).

On June 29, 2017, she married the Turkish actor Burak Özçivit .
