The Fairchild Peak is a 2,180 m high and rocky mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain, it rises 2.5 km south-southeast of Portal Rock on the south side of the confluence of the Tillit Glacier in the Lennox King Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after William W. Fairchild, a radiation scientist with the United States Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station in 1961.
