The Faith Life Corporation publishes and produces digital media for the Bible study . She is best known as the developer of the Logos Bible software , but also offers around 100,000 Christian eBooks with tools and resources for users of her software in collaboration with more than 200 publishers .

history

Faithlife Corporation was founded in 1992 as a project by two Microsoft developers (Bob Pritchett and Kiernon Reiniger), along with Bob's father, Dale Pritchett. The three quit to develop Christian software . Their first product was Logos Bible software for Microsoft Windows . This software was the company's main product for almost 20 years, but a few years ago the product range was expanded to include other products and services. In line with this change, the company was renamed Faithlife Corporation in October 2014.

Logos Bible software

The Logos Bible Software is Bible software for Android , iOS , Windows , macOS and as a web application . Faithlife also sells a modified version under the Verbum brand , the content and features of which are aimed at Catholics . Another product called Noet specializes in academic work in the humanities , particularly ancient literature and philosophy .

Proclaim

Proclaim is a cloud-based church presentation software that enables users to jointly create visual presentations for church services . The lectures are usually projected through a video projector, but members of the community can also receive “signals” from Proclaim on their mobile devices .

Faithlife EBooks

Faith Life EBooks (formerly Vyrso ) is an eBook - Online Store and Mobile App , which on Christian Fiction is specialized and non-fiction. The Faithlife EBooks books are offered in a proprietary format and cannot be read on other e-book readers . The eBooks can also be accessed in other Faithlife desktop and mobile apps.

Faithlife Study Bible

The Faithlife Study Bible or Faithlife Study Bible is a free electronic study Bible available as an iOS, Android app or as a plug-in in other Faithlife products. It offers three “layers” of study notes so that users can read short notes or introductions, extended notes, or longer articles. Users are also able to take notes themselves that they can share with the Faithlife community . The Faithlife Study Bible package also includes the Lexham Bible Dictionary and Lexham English Bible . The menu navigation and functionality differ from the similar Logos apps in that they are directly linked to media content and community groups.

Faithlife Groups

The Faithlife Groups (also known as the Faithlife Community ) are an online network that includes many Faithlife products. Users can create their own profiles and groups (which can be public or private) and then share articles within those groups. The groups can be accessed through a web browser or desktop applications. In addition to the standard functions of a social network , users can share various Faithlife-specific resources (such as newspaper clippings, collections, word lists, visual filters) and use them in one or more of their Faithlife apps.

Biblia.com

An online Bible that provides access to 50 versions of the Bible in multiple languages. Logos Bible software and Vyrso users can also use this service to read purchased Logos / Vyrso books. The three German free online Bible translations available are the Luther Bibles from 1545 and 1912 and the New Geneva Translation .

Reftagger

A JavaScript -based web tool that webmasters can use to automatically associate Bible passages with tags on their website . Reftagger immediately shows users the relevant Bible verse when they hover over a Bible reference with the mouse . A tooltip shows the text of the verse so that you don't have to leave the website to look it up. Directly from the pop-up , you can share a Bible verse on social networks such as Facebook , Twitter , Google+ and Faithlife.

Bible Study Magazine

The Bible Study Magazine is a bimonthly printed magazine named one of the best magazines by the Library Journal in 2008 . It is non-denominational and features articles on Bible study methods and tools, as well as contributions from prominent pastors , teachers, and scholars.

Lexham Press

Lexham Press is a publisher of digital media , which in biblical studies specializes. A variety of resources are out there, from group Bible study and devotionals to commentaries and tools for the original Biblical languages.

Kirkdale Press

A digital imprint that focuses on Christian life, Christian fiction, and digital publications for a more general audience. Kirkdale Press sponsors both new and established writers.
