The Falkner Glacier is a 6 km long and steep valley glacier in the Mountaineer Range of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows 3 km south of Oakley Glacier to the east and ends in the form of a floating glacier tongue in the Lady Newnes Bay on the Borchgrevink Coast .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2009 after Kelly Kenison Falkner (* 1960), Professor of Chemical Oceanography at Oregon State University , who has been Head of the Antarctic Integrated System Science Program (AISS) of the National Science Foundation since 2006 .
