criticism

The song received mixed reviews. Alex Lai from contactmusic.com writes:

"Fallen Leaves" is a punk rocker that is instantly reminiscent of Green Day, right down to Benjamin Kowalewicz's shouted vocals. Catchy without being thrilling, the chorus is designed for fist-pumping moshpits, but the song lacks substance and is easily disposable as soon as the last chords end.

“'Fallen Leaves' is a punk rocker who immediately reminds you of Green Day , right down to the screaming vocals of Benjamin Kowalewicz. Memorable, but not exciting, the refrain for faustball end is Moshpits as done. However, the song lacks substance and as soon as the last chords fade away, it is very easy to replace. "

- Alex Lai

Jacob Dunkley of rockfeedback.com had a more positive opinion that the track was a catchy tune, and if you could say something positive about the singing voice, it would be the fact that you wouldn't sing any differently with this song. Even if you can't, Fallen Leaves is “much, much better” than Fall Out Boy . He awarded four stars.
