Dead Silence is the fourth studio album by the Canadian rock band Billy Talent . It was published in Germany on September 7, 2012.
Emergence
The album was recorded from November 2011 to July 2012. The release was delayed due to writer's block from singer Benjamin Kowalewicz and guitarist Ian D'Sa, as well as heart surgery by drummer Aaron Solowoniuk. The first single Viking Death March was already available for download on May 25, 2012, the second Surprise Surprise on August 7, 2012. A physical copy of these two tracks is not available.

Yan Vogel from Laut.de awarded four out of five stars. He wrote that the roots on the album went “deeper than ever into rock history” and were not “awkward quotation, but self-confession”, as was the case with its predecessor.
