Family Stories is a German scripted reality show on the German private broadcaster RTL II , which was broadcast from July 18, 2011 to June 15, 2018 and produced by Janus TV.

Similar to the Geissens and the Wollnys , the show shows families or individuals who experience unexpected, mostly amusing situations with a positive outcome. The respective people are usually presented in inappropriate or embarrassing situations. According to the station's program director, current topics are addressed to young audiences and real families are shown.
Since January 16, 2012, Family Stories has been broadcast in the morning around 11 am due to poor ratings, previously at 5 pm in the afternoon program.
