Leben.Lieben.Leipzig is a German reality soap opera on the TV channel RTL II . After Cologne 50667, the series is the second offshoot of Soap Berlin - Day & Night .
The episodes take place in Leipzig . The first broadcast took place on November 12, 2018 at 8:15 p.m. The other episodes were then broadcast on RTL 2 from Monday to Friday at 5:00 p.m. until November 30th. The series was produced by the production company Filmpool . The series was conceived around the role of Yvonne Voss (played by Janine Meißner ). In April 2019 it was announced that the series would not continue for the time being.
The soap opera shows the hip lifestyle of young adults. The episodes tell stories about the turbulent everyday life of young people. The original intended title of the series was Princess of Leipzig.
As with Cologne 50667 and Berlin - Day & Night, the plot and characters are fictitious. The roles are predominantly occupied by amateur actors.

Yvonne Voss, known from Cologne 50667 , moved from Cologne to Leipzig into a shared apartment . Her best friends Janette and Gina and her best friend Jeremy live next to her. Yvonne works at the hip snack bar Fritty in Pink . She would also like to become the advertising face of Disco Club L1. A second storyline is about Dennis Nowotny, who returns to Leipzig after a foreign assignment with the Bundeswehr in Mali to find the go-go bar that he and his brother Rico have in financial difficulties. In addition, his brother got engaged to Janette, whom he also had an eye on.
