Krass Schule - Die Junge Lehrer is a German scripted reality soap that has been broadcast on RTL II since 2018 . The series is produced by RedSeven Entertainment . After Die Wache Hamburg and Schwestern - Full dose of love, the series is the third attempt to establish a daily soap on the 5 p.m. slot .
On June 17, 2019, the direct offshoot Krass senior class started on RTL 2 .
The first episode of the second season was shown on September 17, 2018 on RTL II. After that, a second season was announced. The third season was officially the second part of the second season. Nevertheless, the second half of season 2 is rated as the third, as the listing as the second part of the second season is only available on TVNOW . Thus, Krass Schule was officially extended by a third season in March 2019 and unofficially by a fourth season in September 2019.

The series revolves around five young teachers who are completing their legal clerkship at the fictional Erich-Felbert- Gesamtschule in Cologne-Porz with many problematic students. In addition to teaching, they must therefore also address the problems of the students and their relationships with one another and with their parents and maintain the class atmosphere. One of the trainee lawyers is Sarah Schäfer, who moved from her home town of Hamburg to Cologne because her fiancé Rene cheated on her before the wedding. There she meets the other trainee lawyers. Jan, who immediately falls in love with Sarah, offers her to sleep in the shared apartment of the teacher Dietrich Nolting, Thea von Wiesenau and Jan Rossmann. Thea, who is secretly in love with Jan, wants to get rid of Sarah as soon as possible. At first Sarah didn't want anything from Jan, but after a short time, feelings develop in her. After her ex-fiancé Rene is at the door, a chaos of love develops in her. Maria and Lukas, the school's "dream couple", got more and more caught up in problems during the school year, which is why arguments occur more often. Jenny, another trainee teacher at the school, falls in love with the father of a student. After a hot night with Rene, a kind of relationship develops again between the two of them. Since only four teaching positions are available at the school, the five fight in vain for these positions. After the teachers are put to the test on a class trip, Jan and Sarah get along better after Sarah's slip with Rene. That doesn't suit Thea, who has an even bigger grudge against Sarah. After the school trip, Jans Ex shows up at the shared apartment who blackmailed him. She is the only one who knows the secret about Jan's non-existent high school diploma. This has forged his certificate. After an ambiguous photo of Dietrich and a schoolgirl, Dietrich got into trouble because he was also blackmailed by the director's son, Leonard. The season ends with exam lessons for the trainee lawyers. Jan thinks about whether he should admit that he doesn't have a high school diploma and makes it up. Jenny leaves school after her legal clerkship and never appears on the show again.

After Jan Rossmann admitted that he did not have a high school diploma and was arrested on suspicion of murder, there are only three teachers at the school for the time being. As the neighboring school burns down, new students and two new teachers are quickly added. After the holidays, the "pretty" new student Shayenne comes to school. Since Maria is afraid of losing her rank as the "prettiest", she harasses Shayenne with her group of girls. Leonard, Tobias and Marvin can hardly keep their eyes from Shayenne. All three try to get her favor. Carmen tries to solve an argument that separated Maria and Rosa as friends, because she can no longer stand these arguments. You succeed in this too. Meanwhile, Jan receives the results of the pregnancy test, which could upset the relationship with Sarah. The new student Felix starts an argument with Lukas that will have consequences in the future. Thea is filmed taking a shower after physical education class and this video is published. One of the new teachers, Finn, is committed to finding the culprit. The question is whether it was the son of the principal Leonard. Marvin, who is with Rosa's cousin Jessica, cheats on her, but continues to try to win her back. Due to an insult to Thea by a student because of her scarce clothing, the director, Ms. Steinmeier, ensures that such scarce clothing may no longer be worn, which restricts Thea in her choice. At a school ball, the pupil Maria wants to become queen, but her enemy Shayenne wants to prevent this. Rene, who is now a lifeguard at the neighboring lake, comes more and more often into situations with Thea that he doesn't want to get into. After several quarreling, the two start a relationship. After Rene no longer wants to do his job as a lifeguard, he starts as a caretaker assistant at the school. Felix and Lukas are threatened with expulsion from school. Rocco, Felix's brother, does not want to allow this and calls on all students to sit down in the school yard. Ms. Steinmeier cancels her decision, but the students now all have to go to a boot camp. The new teacher Max Bauer, who follows Finn, is very self-contained, which is why he seems interesting to Sarah. Max introduces his parents Marianne and Norbert Sara as his girlfriend over dinner at an Italian restaurant. Jan, who came back to the school as a substitute teacher, is therefore pretty jealous of Max. The two start a huge argument about Sarah. The students are exhausted because of the difficult training units. Rocco is in a chaos of love during camp. His brother likes the same girl as him and doesn't want to interfere with him, which leads to a big argument. After the boot camp, the new student Konny comes to school. When Max recognizes him again, he wants to quit his job immediately and disappear from Cologne. However, Sarah cannot allow this and tries to prevent it. When Sarah then learns about Max and Konny's past, she can persuade Konny to clarify everything to the police and persuade Max to stay in Cologne. Sara runs in front of a car in anger. She is put into an artificial coma . Because of this incident, all the teachers manage to get together and be there for Sarah.
Season 3 - Part 1
Sarah wakes up from her coma and returns to the Erich Felbert Comprehensive School after two days with gaps in memory. Lessons are pretty difficult for her. In addition, the problematic student Alexa, Maria's sister, comes to school from boarding school. From day 1, she starts an argument with Rosa. Shayenne and Alexa are watched by a stalker , which worsens the situation. However, the teachers quickly get the situation under control. Jan proposes to Sarah, but she refuses. She then meets with Max, who is moving into the teacher's shared apartment. The loss of a teaching position sparks a fight between teachers. A particularly bad fight is sparked between Max and Jan. With this, however, the feelings of the two for Sarah stand in the way. Because of a "fast kiss" between Sarah and Jan, new feelings are also kindled in Sarah. She ends her relationship with Max after major problems. In the season, Jan also gets together with Sally, but feels pressured and restricted by her, which is why he ends the relationship. A new teacher, Judith Fischer, enters the teaching team and immediately takes tough measures. She loses her job through an affair with the student Rocco. There is then a major argument between Rocco and Felix, which ends at the end of the season after Rocco has taken caffeine tablets and Felix took him to a hospital. Rene, who is in a relationship with Thea, is offered a modeling job. When Thea notices this, she gives Rene a choice. Either the model job or her. During the season, Rene becomes a cafeteria employee at the school. Carmen gets together with Marvin, but this relationship ends again when Rosa brings her cousin Jessica back to school. She confuses the feelings of Marvin who then cheats on Carmen. So the two must convince Ms. Steinmeier that they are good teachers. Daniela becomes pregnant in the season of Dietrich, which is why she wants to throw the others out of the flat. Since Daniela can no longer work with her pregnancy, the others have to do substitute hours. At the end of the season, Daniela disappears with the baby and Dietrich never hears from her again. Season 3 - Part 2
At the beginning of the second part of the fourth season, Lennox Smith joins the group, who previously had an affair with the teacher Thea von Wiesenau . He tries unsuccessfully to blackmail them with the affair, as Ms. von Wiesenau threatens to report him to his probation officer .
Later, Mr. Berith, who shows great interest in Ms. Schäfer, joins as a sports and music teacher. Ms. von Wiesenau, however, has great interest in him, which he does not reply. She blames Ms. Schäfer for this situation. These circumstances cause a long-lasting conflict between the two teachers. Nevertheless, Mrs. Schäfer and Mr. Berith become a couple. In the meantime, Carmen falls in love with the student Timo, who helps her father in the vegetable shop. This makes Luke jealous and, with time, shows pathological heartache. However, at the wedding of the two, Lukas explains that Timo is a con man , so that Timo no longer appears in the series. After Mr. Berith accepts announcements from a mother and his fiancée catches him with this mother, it's over between the two of them. It also shows that Mr. Berith is becoming more and more aggressive, so that he beats Leonard. As a result, he loses his job. Frau von Wiesenau is going through a change of character this season , she falls in love with Dietrich Nolting after a emotional chaos because of Max and Dietrich, because of his compassionate manner. After some initial difficulties, their relationship leveled off. A relationship also develops between Charlotte and Felix, but it ended due to an affair between Alexa and Felix. After an internship with an undertaker, Leonard and Rosa approach each other. The love of the two is not tolerated by the parents, so Ms. Steinmeier tried to separate them. Meanwhile, Carmen realizes that she still has feelings for Lukas. Lukas is in a relationship with Jaqueline, although he also has feelings for Carmen, because he tried to make Carmen jealous with this relationship. Because of a conflict of conscience , he does not end the relationship with Jaqueline. Meanwhile, a new parking garage is being built next to the school . The construction work causes major damage to the school, which is why the school management appoints an engineer . The engineer is also Max Bauer's ex-girlfriend. Over time, both of them get closer, because she lives in the teacher's shared apartment during the construction work. This makes Sarah very jealous, who had hoped for a relationship with Max based on a previous friendship-plus relationship. The damage to the school is so severe that in the last episode the ceilings of the school building collapse. In this, Leonard saves his great love Rosa from the cellar. This had previously gone into the basement because the two wanted to speak. Leonard's rescue operation lets his mother understand how important she is to Leonard. The rest of the school community also suffered physical damage from this accident. Since Mr. Farmer rescues Jaqueline from school afterwards, both have to go to the hospital because of dust in their lungs. The second part ends with Mr. Bauer confessing his love for his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Schäfer cannot psychologically cope with this fact . Literally she says: "My whole life is collapsing. How can it go on now?" After rescuing Carmen from the building instead of his girlfriend, Lukas can hardly believe his grief because Jaqueline no longer wants to hear from him.

Production and publication
The first three seasons “Krass Schule” was filmed in the youth club “Glashütte”. The first episode was broadcast on RTL II on April 30, 2018 in the evening program and was continued there as a daily soap until May 18. The first episode of the second season aired on September 17, 2018 and ran until November 9. The remainder of Season 2 aired from March 18, 2019 to June 14, 2019. The third season aired from September 2, 2019 to December 20, 2019. The fourth season aired from February 10, 2020 to April 3, 2020. Smaller excerpts of the episodes are published immediately after the broadcast on the YouTube channel of the same name , which has 871,000 subscribers. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic , no new episodes could be broadcast after April 3. After the Easter holidays on April 20, 2020, the series will therefore start again with the 1st season.
