Fangaua is the administrative center and capital of Nukulaelae - atoll in the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu . It is the only village on the 15-island atoll. Fangaua is located in the east of the island of the same name, in the west of the atoll. Fangaua has 586 inhabitants (as of 2010).

The place has a hospital, church, school and post office. In addition, the seat of the island administration ( Kaupule ) is located in Fangaua .
