Fanny Imle

Fanny Imle (born April 2, 1878 in Ellwangen ; † August 11, 1965 in Niedermarsberg ) was a German economist and writer.

Life

The daughter of the professional officer Emil Imle (* 1834 in Ludwigsburg ; † 1900 in Reichenau near Konstanz) and his second wife Fanny, b. Keller (* 1844) studied philosophy at the University of Zurich from 1897 . She received her doctorate on March 5, 1907 at the Law and Political Science Faculty of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg under Carl Johannes Fuchs and Gerhart von Schulze-Gaevernitz . In 1904 she converted to Catholicism and later, from around 1909, wrote books on theological or religious philosophy as a religious writer. For example, in 1914 she wrote a biography of Francis of Assisi .
