Farchod Negmatow ( Russian Фарход Негматов ; born November 22, 1989 ) is a Tajik Taekwondoin . He starts in featherweight and welterweight.

Negmatov played his first international title fights at the 2009 World Cup in Copenhagen . In the weight class up to 74 kilograms, he retired after his opening fight. The 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju was more successful . In the class up to 68 kilograms, he advanced to the round of 16 with three wins, but was then eliminated by Servet Tazegül . At the Asian Olympic qualification tournament in Bangkok in 2011 , he won the decisive battle for third place in the class up to 80 kilograms and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London .

Negmatow is trained by John Jong-hu. He is studying at the Tajik Pedagogical University .
