criticism

Petra Schwarz said on Deutschlandfunk that the title of Felix Meyer's new album was “program”. “The singer / songwriter appeals to the feeling and at the same time demands more courage from everyone. But instead of ostensibly agitating, Felix Meyer finds poetic images for his thoughts, which he sings into the microphone sometimes melancholy, sometimes rousing. "

Alexander Kinsky writes on Hinter den Kopfzeilen : “The CD is recorded live in the studio, which gives the songs a special presence: handmade, simply good arrangements that inspire and amaze at the many creative ideas in them. The songs are easy to hear without ever slipping into cheap or cliché. "

Johannes Mihram emphasizes on Plattentests.de that Meyer's voice gets “air for more multifacetedness ” in the quiet moments and points out the programmatic diversity: “In addition to love songs, socially critical songs are increasingly finding their way into the program.” The album opens with the anti-war song "Loving to deserted". In the song “Before the Window”, the singer meets “a white tank for the way to kindergarten / the little ones as a guardian”. Meyer and his band are "on the right track" with the album.
