The Fatima Church , also known as Fatima chapel is located in the Gusterergasse 40 in the 14th Vienna district Penzing , but yet within the territory of the parish Starchant , the 16th district Ottakring belongs.

It was built in 1959 by Prelate Josef Gorbach as an emergency church in the form of a wooden barrack and consecrated in the same year on November 1st by Cardinal Franz König . In 1993 the church was destroyed by fire. It was then rebuilt on a smaller scale in 1994/95. The consecration took place by Cardinal Hans Hermann Groër on May 13, 1995. In 1996, the freestanding tower with two small bells was built in timber frame construction. The Fatima Church is the only church in Vienna consecrated to this name.
