fauner consulting is an Austrian internet comedy series that was written and filmed by Georg Weissgram. It has been available online for free since November 22, 2011. The series is about Franz Fauner, who wants to become a life coach without money and without appropriate training. The ten-part first season was designed exclusively for the Internet, with the ulterior motive of making a second season for television. Weissgram and Rubey came up with the idea for the series in spring 2011 and the film was shot between August and November 2011. Apart from a few outdoor scenes, the recordings were made exclusively in an apartment in an old building in Vienna. Every Tuesday an episode is uploaded to YouTube, at which time it is possible to see it on a large monitor at Café Rüdigerhof in Vienna. The series by Ricky Gervais served as a model for the series .

After a few episodes, the series received good reviews. Anna-Maria Wallner from the daily newspaper Die Presse said: "You can't just tell good stories on television - and you don't need a lot of money for intelligent entertainment with humor either."
