Faye Emerson
Faye Emerson (born July 8, 1917 in Elizabeth , Louisiana , † March 9, 1983 in Deià , Mallorca , Spain ) was an American actress .
She made her film debut in 1941 alongside Rita Hayworth in The Heartbreaker . Films followed alongside stars such as Marlene Dietrich , Errol Flynn , Peter Lorre and Cary Grant , in which she often played the female lead. In 1961, the actress withdrew into private life.
Faye Emerson was married to the car dealer William Crawford from 1938 to 1942. From 1944 to 1950 she was married to Elliott Roosevelt , the son of Franklin D. Roosevelt and from 1950 to 1957 with the actor Skitch Henderson . She died of stomach cancer in 1983.
