As fencing weapons is relatively easy called Swords , in the duel for fencing to be used. Basically, a distinction is made between stabbing weapons and cutting weapons.

A distinction is made between military and sporting fencing weapons. The difference is that military fencing weapons are designed to inflict the greatest possible physical damage on an opponent. Sporting fencing weapons are designed to offer both opponents the greatest possible protection. They have developed into modern high-tech devices to this day. The student fencing weapons (scale weapons) are a specialty. The blades of these weapons are sharpened in order to injure the opponent at the scale length ( throw ). On the other hand, the hand protection ( basket ) is designed in such a way that the hands cannot be injured. In addition, other parts of the body are specially protected by protective clothing.
