Federico Alessandrini

Federico Alessandrini (born August 5, 1905 in Recanati , † May 2, 1983 in Rome ) was an Italian journalist.

He came to L'Osservatore Romano in 1930 . In 1946 he became editor-in-chief of Il Quotidiano . In 1950 he returned to L'Osservatore Romano , where he was promoted to deputy director. He was also the editor of L'Osservatore della Domenica .

From 1970 to 1976, Alessandrini, who had been friends with Giovanni Battista Montini since his student days , was director of the press office of the Holy See .
